Safety, continuity, and resilience across the education sector.
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in DepEd is the organized effort to protect learners, personnel, schools, and education investments while keeping learning accessible when hazards strike.
DepEd DRRM covers the full disaster-management cycle: prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. It is implemented through DRRM coordinators and school DRRM teams working with local government DRRM councils and partner agencies.
